American Red Oak Stair Treads — Laminated Hardwood

Used Urban Treads for a weekend project replacing some old external steps with Merbau. The website made it easy to find the exact sizes I needed without a lot of guesswork. Delivery was surprisingly quick to Sydney, and the wood arrived in perfect condition. Definitely my new go-to for timber bits.

Really impressed with the Euro Ash treads I picked up for our staircase. They’ve got a great weight to them and feel really sturdy underfoot. I had a few questions about the care guides before I started oiling them, and the customer service team was super helpful. Top notch Australian business.

Wasn't sure about ordering heavy timber from across the country, but the shipping was surprisingly fast and everything was packed really securely. No dings or scratches on the Light Oak treads at all. If you're looking for high-end stair parts without the massive lead times, I’d definitely recommend these guys.

As a builder, I need suppliers who are reliable and actually understand the technical side of timber. The trade program at Urban Treads has been a game changer for our staircase installs. The Euro Ash laminated treads are incredibly stable and arrive ready to go, which saves us a ton of time on-site. Dealing with an aussie-run business that cares about the finish makes all the difference.

I had a very specific requirement for some custom woodturning that I couldn't find anywhere else. The team at Urban Treads walked me through the options and the final product was exactly what I had envisioned. It’s rare to find this level of craftsmanship and personalized service these days.
